The challenge

Despite its success and name recognition, AMIGO faces a significant challenge: In an extremely competitive industry, it is difficult to effectively promote many games. Competition is not limited to other game publishers, but also to the growing online gaming boom. At a time when more and more people prefer virtual games, it is crucial for AMIGO to find ways to draw attention to traditional board games. In addition, AMIGO's established classics take up a lot of the attention, which further complicates the establishment of new games. The solution: To meet this challenge, AMIGO decided on an innovative solution - the introduction of the AMIGO-Spieletreff in Frankfurt. For a period of one month, a weekly game meeting was set up where board game enthusiasts and interested parties had the opportunity to get to know and try out various games from AMIGO. This game meeting offered a nice opportunity to present many games in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere and at the same time to get direct feedback from the participants.

The solution

To meet this challenge, AMIGO decided on an innovative solution - the introduction of the AMIGO Spielereff in Frankfurt. For a period of one month, a weekly Spieleletreff was launched, where board game enthusiasts and interested parties had the opportunity to get to know and try out various games from AMIGO. This game meeting offered the opportunity to present many games in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere and at the same time to receive direct feedback from the participants.

The result

With over 120,000 impressions, 50,000 invitations sent out and four great evenings, we succeeded in drawing the attention of the Meet5 community in the Rhine-Main area to AMIGO-Spieletreff. The events made it possible to vividly present a wide range of games and receive valuable feedback from the participants. The overwhelmingly positive feedback and high average attendance of 19 players confirm the success of the AMIGO-Spieletreff as a highly effective way to reach the Meet5 community and strengthen the AMIGO brand.
The AMIGO-Spieletreff in Frankfurt marks a significant milestone in our collaboration with AMIGO and lays the foundation for a long-term and engaged AMIGO community. We look forward to many more AMIGO game meetings in the future!
